This candle holder is fairly easy and wont take very long to put together. You can add this to your fall décor in about an hour or two.

Materials

  1. Old can or glass candle holder
  2. Popsicle sticks
  3. Fabric or paper leaves
  4. Hot glue gun

You could also add other elements like twine or hemp, yarn, pine cones or anything fall related that you like.

What to do

Use the hot glue gun to attach the popsicle sticks the entire way around the can. I found that the last two popsicle sticks had some extra room between them so I spaced them evenly so that you wouldn't notice the gap as much. You can also face this side away so that you don't see it when its on display.

Once you have the popsicle attached you can then start layering the leaves. I started gluing the leaves at the highest point and kept layering until I got to the bottom. This creates a very full layered look.  I didn't start at the top of the can because I wanted the popsicles sticks to show but you could have the leaves go all the way up to the top. If you decide to do that then don't apply the popsicle sticks.

That is really all there is to it. A simple, fun and fast craft for a day where you can spare a couple hours.
